Refer a Friend - Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to the Currencyflow Refer a Friend programme (the "Programme"). By participating in the Programme, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these terms.

1. Who can take part

1.1 The Programme is open to existing Currencyflow clients aged 18 or over who have an active account with us (the "Referrer").

1.2 The person being referred (the "Referred Client") must be a new client who does not already have an account with Currencyflow.

1.3 The Programme is not available to employees of Currencyflow or anyone acting in a professional or commercial referral capacity, unless agreed by us in writing.

2. How referrals work

2.1 Referrals must be made using the Referrer's unique referral link.

2.2 A referral will only be considered valid if:

  • the Referred Client signs up using the referral link, and
  • the Referred Client successfully completes onboarding in line with our requirements.

We reserve the right, acting reasonably, to determine whether a referral meets the requirements of the Programme.

3. Referral rewards

3.1 The Referrer may receive a reward when the Referred Client completes their first transfer, provided the conditions in these terms are met.

For the purposes of this Programme, a "first transfer" means the first completed and settled transfer made by the Referred Client.

3.2 Rewards are issued based on the value of the Referred Client's first completed transfer, as follows:

  • £25 for a first transfer of £5,000 or more
  • £50 for a first transfer of £50,000 or more
  • £100 for a first transfer of £100,000 or more

3.3 Where a transfer is made in a currency other than GBP, we will use the GBP equivalent at the time the transfer is executed to determine the applicable reward tier.

3.4 Only one reward may be earned per referred client.

4. Reward delivery

4.1 Rewards will be issued to the Referrer, at the Referrer's choice, either as:

  • a virtual prepaid card; or
  • credit applied directly to the Referrer's Currencyflow account.

4.2 Rewards are normally issued as soon as reasonably practicable after the Referred Client's first qualifying transfer has been completed and verified.

4.3 We are not responsible for any delays caused by third-party reward providers.

4.4 The reward selection must be made within a reasonable timeframe communicated by Currencyflow.

4.5 The Referrer is responsible for any tax liability arising from receipt of a reward.

4.6 Rewards are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be provided.

5. Exclusions and misuse

5.1 No reward will be issued if:

  • the Referred Client already has, or previously had, a Currencyflow account;
  • the Referrer refers themselves;
  • the referral is generated through bulk distribution, advertising, paid promotion or other non-personal or commercial methods;
  • we believe the Programme is being misused, abused or operated in bad faith.

5.2 We reserve the right to withhold or revoke rewards if we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse or attempts to circumvent these terms.

6. General

6.1 The Programme is not available in conjunction with any other offer, unless stated otherwise.

6.2 We may amend, suspend or withdraw the Programme at any time. Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice of any material changes.

6.3 Our decision regarding eligibility, referrals and rewards is final.

7. Data protection

7.1 We will process personal data in connection with the Programme in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7.2 Referrers should ensure they have the Referred Client's permission before sharing their referral link.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
